Josh Peters was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1970 and raised in Sudbury,
Massachusetts. He received his BFA from the University of Massachusetts,
Amherst in 1993 and his MFA from Rutgers University in 1996. His work will
be featured in the upcoming 2006 Northeast Edition of New American
Paintings, curated by Bill Arning of the List Visual Arts Center at M.I.T.
In 2004, his paintings were exhibited for the first time in Europe at the
Berliner Kunst Projekt. He lives and works in New York City.
